Campus: State Championship
After their successful participation in the district chess tournament, the Stella primary school chess team was invited to the state chess tournament in St. Pölten. We would like to thank Mr. Petz for the excellent preparation and the parents of Matthew, Moritz, and Sara for providing transport. We are proud of you!

Open Day
There was a lot of activity on our Open Day, and a particularly lovely initiative came from our primary school students: with great dedication, they made homemade date balls and sold them on-site. The sweet treats were very popular with the visitors. All proceeds from the sale were subsequently handed over to the campus management. This successful initiative not only demonstrates the children’s commitment and independence but also their sense of community and social engagement. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved!

Kindergarten: Spring Workshop
In our tulip workshop at the kindergarten, everything revolved around spring! With great enthusiasm, the children designed the structure of a tulip—from the roots and the stem to the colorful petals—and discovered in a playful way how a flower grows. In addition, cheerful spring pictures were stamped. Using bright colors, they created creative artworks that reflect the vibrant season.

Easter Celebration
The focus of the Easter celebration in the kindergarten was on shared experience. In the morning circle, the Easter story was collectively reconstructed and portrayed with much joy, allowing the children to learn about the meaning of the festival through play. Afterwards, everyone had a snack together before the children went to search for their homemade Easter baskets in the garden. The day was a special highlight that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Mother’s Day Preparations
Preparations for Mother’s Day are underway in the kindergarten. The children are joyfully designing lovely cards, practicing a poem, and learning a fitting song. With great enthusiasm, they are preparing little surprises to bring joy to their mums on this special day.

Nature Day
On Nature Day, our kindergarten hiked together to Seebenstein Castle. There was much to discover along the way, and once at the top, the children enjoyed the beautiful view and a shared picnic on the meadow.

Primary School: “Over and Under”
In PE class, the children took on an exciting team task: a ball was rolled under their classmates, after which they had to carefully step or jump over them. With great skill, consideration, and team spirit, the children mastered the challenge together and had a lot of fun in the process!

Kangaroo Mathematics Competition
In the “Kangaroo Mathematics” competition at the primary school, the children were able to put their skills to the test. With great concentration and joy, they puzzled over exciting tasks and demonstrated their mathematical prowess. The competition offered a great opportunity to promote logical thinking and strengthen enthusiasm for mathematics.

Good Habits
This time, our good habits focused on the topic of respect. Under the motto “I eat nicely and use my cutlery,” the children put what they had learned into practice immediately. They ate together at the table, paying particular attention to table manners, respectful interaction, and pleasant togetherness.

Visit to the Altar Bread Bakery
The entire primary school set off by bus towards Dreistetten.
As part of their First Communion preparation, the 2nd-grade children visited the altar bread bakery there. They received an initial insight into the production of hosts—from preparing the dough and baking to punching them out. The students were not only able to observe many of these steps but also try them out for themselves. In doing so, they realized how much care, meaning, and symbolism goes into the production of the hosts. With great interest and wonder, they experienced the reverence and mindfulness with which the work is carried out. This special excursion made several aspects of the First Communion preparation tangible and understandable in an impressive way.
Meanwhile, the other classes received an interesting guided tour through the large sacristy. They were shown the various liturgical vessels, vestments, and other objects used in the church service. It was clearly explained to them what these mean and how they are used.

Hiking Day
Then the journey continued on foot through the forest to Markt Piesting. The children were able to spend some time at the multigenerational playground before taking the train back to Seebenstein. It was a great community experience in beautiful surroundings at the foot of the Hohe Wand.

Secondary School: Cooking Classes
With much curiosity and enthusiasm, the secondary school students are diving into the world of cooking. Fresh, healthy ingredients are just as much a focus as learning basic kitchen techniques. In addition to balanced meals, sweet desserts are also prepared, providing extra motivation. In this way, enjoyment, creativity, and important life skills are combined in a tasty manner.

Active Learning
In the secondary school, the topic of sentence structure was explored in a particularly active way. Through “active learning,” students were able to consolidate their knowledge not just while sitting, but also through movement. This varied method deepened their understanding of sentence structures in a playful way. The combination of learning and movement provided motivation, promoted cooperation, and made the German lesson a lively experience.

After-School Care: Outdoor Tennis
Our tennis season in Seebenstein has started with much joy and energy! During the first joint game on the tennis court, the children were able to show their skills and clearly enjoyed the exercise. We play tennis every Wednesday in after-school care and would be very happy if more children would like to join in. Whether beginner or advanced: everyone is warmly welcome! We look forward to many more sporty afternoons on the tennis court!
