Campus: Campus Festival
Our campus festival was a great success! There was plenty of food and drink: delicious food, cake, fresh fruit and refreshing beverages. There was also lots for the children— a bouncy castle, a water slide, face painting and tin can shooting provided plenty of fun and entertainment.
A special highlight was the Kisi musical, which was rehearsed together with the students over many weeks with great dedication. The successful performance delighted the audience and rounded off a wonderful celebration.

Sports Festival
At this year’s sports festival, movement and the joy of sport took centre stage. The students were able to demonstrate their skills at various stations such as tennis, long jump, sprint and many other disciplines. Commitment, team spirit and, above all, the fun of being active could be felt everywhere. To refuel, there was a delicious sausage snack as well as refreshing melon—just the thing after the sporting activities.
At the award ceremony, all achievements were rewarded with medals and certificates. A special highlight were the vouchers for tennis lessons from Academy1.at, which were awarded to the winners as additional prizes.
Kindergarten: Strawberries
With great joy, the children planted strawberry plants in our garden. Together, they prepared the soil, planted and watered. In the process, the children discovered what plants need to grow and how important it is to treat nature with care. Now we are excitedly watching how the strawberry plants develop and are already looking forward to the first delicious strawberries.
Pizza Movie Afternoon
At our Pizza Movie Afternoon, the preschool children enjoyed a varied and cheerful afternoon. Together they mastered various preschool games that required concentration, dexterity and team spirit. To refuel, there was delicious pizza before the children got cosy for a film together. It was a lovely finale full of fun, togetherness and anticipation for the next big step towards school.
Visit to the nursing home
The kindergarten children regularly visit the Mater Salvatoris nursing home. During these encounters, they sing, laugh and spend time together. The children perform songs and bring lots of joy to the residents’ everyday life. The shared activities create valuable encounters between young and old. Both the children and the seniors enjoy this special time together.
Primary school: The church
In religious education, the children in Year 1 explored the exciting question: What can we find in a church? Together they discovered important objects and places that belong in a church, such as the altar, the cross, the candles, the pews, the organ and much more. Using pictures and conversations, the children learned the meaning of these objects and why they are important to many people. With great curiosity, the children contributed their prior knowledge and shared their experiences. In this way, the students were able to get to know the church as a special place and expand their knowledge of the Christian faith.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit
In religious education, the students in Year 4 explored the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Together they worked out their meaning and considered how these gifts can strengthen and accompany people in everyday life. To deepen the topic, a special challenge awaited the children: they were to stack seven wooden blocks—each symbolising a gift of the Holy Spirit—on top of one another without using their hands. Teamwork, communication, patience and dexterity were required. With great joy and commitment, the students mastered the task and experienced how important cohesion and mutual support are. In this way, the topic became tangible in a playful way and was reinforced in a lasting manner.
Our project days
From 22–25 June, the project days for Years 3 and 4 took place. We felt very comfortable in our accommodation at the KISI House in Altmünster. On the spacious grounds—with a beach volleyball court, football pitch, hard court, trampoline, table tennis and treehouse—we had the opportunity to let off steam with games and fun. After our trips to the Gmunden ceramics manufactory with a workshop and the treetop walk on the Grünberg with a giant slide, we cooled off in the afternoons at the Gmunden lido. A wonderful pleasure for all of us. On all our outings, we immersed ourselves in the wonderful scenery of the Traunstein and Lake Traunsee. These days strengthened our community, and unforgettable moments will remain in our memories.
Secondary school: House of Music
The Year 4 MS class visited the House of Music. There we were able to discover many exciting and interactive exhibitions. We learned interesting facts about music, sounds and famous composers. The trip was educational and varied, and everyone really enjoyed it.
Grease fire
In class, the Year 4 MS class explored the topic of grease fires. The students learned how a grease fire starts and why it is particularly dangerous. They also learned how to act correctly in an emergency and that you must never extinguish a grease fire with water. The lesson was very interesting and conveyed important knowledge for everyday life.
Swimming days for the first classes
The first classes spent exciting swimming days at the Seebenstein swimming pool. The students were able to master various tasks such as deep diving, jumping and diving headfirst into the water. With lots of motivation and joy, the children practised their swimming skills and had a great time together in the water.
Year 4: Small, but mighty!
This school year, Year 4 was a small but all the stronger community. Together, many wonderful moments were experienced, challenges mastered and countless memories made. In the last days of school, being together once again took centre stage. With lovely end-of-year activities and a cheerful atmosphere, the school year came to a successful close. We wish all Year 4 students a restful holiday and all the best and every success on their further journey!
After-school care: Creative workshop
With great enthusiasm, the after-school care children turned stones into small works of art. Using colourful pens, the stones were painted, decorated and embellished with creative patterns, animals, symbols or little messages. The children were able to let their imagination run free and implement truly individual ideas. Painting the stones not only encouraged creativity, but also fine motor skills and concentration. The children shared their designs, gave each other ideas and were proud of their successful results. This created many unique and colourful artworks that enrich our after-school care programme and show just how creative our children are.
Sports in after-school care
There are often movement activities in after-school care. The children have the opportunity to play, climb, balance and try out various movement tasks. The focus is on the joy of movement and shared experiences. Sports activities are also offered in bad weather so that the children can stay active and let off steam. Through varied movement and play activities, the children have lots of fun and, along the way, strengthen their coordination, endurance and sense of community.
Hand lettering
As part of our leisure programme “Hand Lettering”, children can let their creativity run free. They learn about different fonts and design techniques and practise creating letters and words in creative ways. For example, Bible verses, sayings or personal messages are designed and decorated. Using different pens, colours and decorative elements, individual works of art are created. Hand lettering promotes fine motor skills, concentration and children’s creative expression. At the same time, it’s fun to try out new lettering styles and put their own ideas into practice.
Swimming
The after-school care children spent a lovely afternoon at the Seebenstein pool. In summery temperatures, they took the opportunity to swim, splash around and relax. They enjoyed the cool water with great enthusiasm and spent time at the outdoor pool. Anyone who wanted could also buy an ice cream for an extra refreshment. The trip was a great experience for everyone and a welcome change from everyday after-school care.
