Campus: Celebration of Gratitude
A special celebration was held at Campus Stella Seebenstein: the “Celebration of Gratitude”. Many people came together to sincerely thank all those who enrich campus life with their dedication, time, and helpfulness. In a warm and joyful atmosphere, everyone laughed, chatted, and celebrated together. The shared meal provided an opportunity for encounters, good conversations, and valuable moments of community. It was especially wonderful to feel how much cohesion and mutual appreciation are lived out on campus. Another highlight of the celebration was the Mass celebrated together. In gratitude, everyone paused, prayed together, and strengthened their bond with one another. The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of humanity, support, and lived community. The Celebration of Gratitude was a touching and joyful day that will remain a beautiful memory for all participants for a long time to come.
Kindergarten: Cress Project
Together with the children, we sowed cress seeds and watched them grow daily. The children took great joy in caring for the small plants. Once the cress was big enough, we prepared a delicious spread with cream cheese, and of course, we tasted it right away! A wonderful project focused on nature and healthy eating.
Mother’s Day Café
The kindergarten children warmly invited everyone to a cozy Mother’s Day Café. With great joy, they had prepared a small program: they sang lovingly rehearsed songs, performed a short play, and proudly presented their handmade gifts.
Over coffee and homemade cake, which the children helped to prepare, everyone spent a lovely morning together in a cheerful atmosphere. The beaming faces of the children and mothers showed how special this shared Mother’s Day was.
Good Habit: Showing Strength
In line with our good habit of “showing strength,” the children tested their own strengths and limits on the climbing frame. With great motivation and a sense of security and trust, they ventured into new challenges. This allowed the children to strengthen their self-confidence and be proud of their own progress.
Austria Day
In kindergarten, everything revolved around Austria and its traditions. Together, we watched a film about our homeland and discovered many interesting places and unique features of Austria. Afterwards, there was joyful dancing: the children tried traditional dances and had great fun with music and movement. The communal baking was also particularly exciting. The children enthusiastically helped prepare apple strudel: from cutting and mixing to rolling the dough. There was laughter, snacking, and many new things were tried. A varied day full of community, joy, and wonderful insights into Austrian traditions.
Primary School: Sumsi Cup
In this year’s Sumsi Cup, our Stella VS Seebenstein team showed great dedication, team spirit, and much joy in football. With excellent games and great fighting spirit, our team achieved an outstanding 9th place. We are proud of our players and warmly congratulate them on this great achievement!
Religion in First Grade
Fitting for Mother’s Day, the first-grade children in religion class focused on Mary, our heavenly mother. With flowers from the garden, the students created loving pictures and a festive spot around the statue of Mary. In this way, creativity, gratitude, and community were connected in a special way.
Middle School: Carnival of the Animals
The 3rd and 4th grades of primary school and the first grades of middle school jointly visited the “Carnival of the Animals” concert in Neukloster. Beforehand, the students spent a pleasant time at the Capuchin monastery with snacks, games, and getting to know the donkeys. The excursion was a special experience for everyone, full of music, community, and joy.
Technology and Design
In the Technology and Design subject, students worked diligently on practical projects. Together, raised beds were built, planted, and cared for. Additionally, with craftsmanship, a football goal was created for the schoolyard. The children were able to demonstrate their creativity, teamwork, and technical skills. Forest Youth Games
On May 6th, after extensive preparation in class, the 2nd grade middle school students visited the Forest Youth Games. There, they were able to demonstrate their knowledge of the forest and nature at various stations. With great enthusiasm and teamwork, the students mastered the tasks. As a special highlight, they got to ride the Flying Fox over the Seebenstein swimming pool at the end. This exciting conclusion brought great joy to everyone.
After-School Care: Rabbit and Chicken Love
For many children in after-school care, contact with rabbits and chickens is a special and calming part of their daily routine. In a relaxed atmosphere, children can experience the animals up close, gently pet them, observe them, and find peace. The mindful interaction with the animals helps children to find calm, feel closeness, and experience responsibility. These shared animal experiences create a special atmosphere of security and appreciation. A loving component of the after-school routine that allows for deceleration, tranquility, and many beautiful encounters with animals.
Football in After-School Care
Football training in after-school care was once again all about movement, fair play, and good spirits. Everyone dribbled, passed, and of course, celebrated a goal or two. It was especially wonderful to see how all the children played together, supported each other, and had fun together. Whether beginners or little football pros: everyone could participate and be part of the team. We are already looking forward to the next training!
